Synthetic Industry

Inspectable example · updated 2026-10-10

Try a small feature and inspect its real synthetic evidence packet

An existing shopping-list demonstration connects the request, tests and implementation, with explicit limits and no client-delivery claim.

An example, not a customer case study. Scope and evidence limitations are described below.

The made-up request

Add a button to clear bought items and show how many remain. Synthetic Industry built this small app to demonstrate a deliverable and evidence packet, not for a customer. The name 'Shared shopping list' does not imply multiple users: there is no account sharing, server or persistence.

  • Clearing removes checked items and keeps the others in order.
  • The remaining counter updates after add, toggle and clear.
  • An empty list has zero remaining and a disabled clear button.

What was actually checked

The existing 16 Node tests were rerun on 10 October 2026 and all passed. The retained independent review reproduced those tests and the historical failure when new tests were paired with the old implementation. That review used Node and static inspection, not a browser or screenshots. The packet also retains the author's historical browser-check results; these are distinct from the independent Node/static review.

  • Inspect the implementation and test file linked in the sources.
  • Read the packet's review findings and limitations.
  • The independent reviewer did not establish any client acceptance or production release.

Try it with disposable text

Add an item, mark one bought and clear bought items. Try the singular, plural and empty counter states. State resets when the page reloads. The demonstration is not intended to store a real shopping list.

  • Do not type private or customer information.
  • No email, payment or account action belongs to this example.

Honest limits

No real screen reader has verified the announcement behaviour. The historical sample disclosed long unbroken item-text overflow, zero-width-space names and a weak immutability assertion; do not treat a small demonstration as a production-ready multi-user app. It shows how a request can be linked to checks, a running result and independent findings, not evidence of client-lane throughput.

Tick things off as you buy them.

    Sources and limits

    • Actual list implementation Checked 2026-10-10.
      • The list supports add, toggle, clearing bought items and a remaining counter; state is in memory.
    • Actual automated tests, rerun 10 October Checked 2026-10-10.
      • node --test passed all 16 tests when rerun on 10 October 2026.
    • Synthetic delivery packet Checked 2026-10-10.
      • The request and app are made up, not client work.
      • A real screen-reader announcement remains untested.
    • Independent Node/static review Checked 2026-10-10.
      • Independent reviewer reproduced 16 passing tests and historical red cases, without browser or pixel review.
      • Known long unbroken text overflow and low-severity limitations were disclosed.
