Standing service
Keep your key landing pages inside an agreed weight and speed budget, month after month
Each month we measure up to three named pages on your Webflow, Squarespace or Wix site against an agreed weight and lab-speed budget, and fix what pushed a page over it.
This starts a conversation by email. Nothing is charged, and nothing is measured, until we have agreed scope and terms with you in writing.
The responsibility you hand over
Pages on a hosted builder get heavier one reasonable addition at a time: a bigger hero image, a new video, another font, one more tracking tag. Nothing breaks, so nobody notices, until a campaign page takes seconds to show on a phone and nobody can say which change did it.
Who it’s for: Marketer or owner who sends campaign traffic to a few pages on a site builder and sees them get heavier as images, videos, fonts and tags are added.
Usually starts when: A page that was fast last quarter is slow now, or each new campaign adds another script and image and nobody owns the page weight.
The result: Each month's measurement shows each named page at or under the total weight, largest-image size and median Largest Contentful Paint agreed in writing, and each month you see the measurements and what was changed when a page went over. It is a monthly measurement, not continuous monitoring: a page can go over budget between two measurements.
What stays true, and what we do about it
No response-time guarantee is published for this new service. A target is agreed in writing before it starts, set to what a service at this stage can actually keep.
Hours are agreed in writing before the service starts. At launch the service is not staffed round the clock, so we do not offer round-the-clock cover.
What must remain true
- Each named page stays at or under the agreed total weight and largest-image size
- The median Largest Contentful Paint of five Lighthouse runs for each named page, with the baseline's settings, stays at or under the agreed figure when it is measured each month
What we watch
- A monthly measurement of each named page with the same tool and settings as the baseline
- The file and script list of each page, compared with last month's list
- Each month, the help articles and update notes the builder publishes on images, fonts and code handling, compared with your named pages; the builder gives us no advance notice of changes

| When | What we do |
|---|---|
| A page is over its weight or loading-time budget in the monthly measurement. | We compare the file list with last month's, find what was added, and fix it within the builder or tell you what only you can decide. Priced as: Builder landing page speed fix |
| You tell us a new video, image set or tag is about to go on a named page. | We measure before and after it goes on and tell you its cost against the budget. |
| A month ends. | We send a short written summary with the measurements side by side. |
We do on our own
- Measure the named public pages and list their files and scripts
- Resize and recompress images on the named pages to the compression level you approved at the baseline, and set below-the-fold images to load lazily where the builder allows
- Report what the builder does not let you change
We ask you first
- Removing or deferring a tracking tag, video or font
- Any change that alters how a page looks, including any image compression stronger than the level you approved at the baseline
- Any change of plan, billing or domain
We escalate to you when
- Most of the weight is a third-party app or frame the builder cannot optimise
- The budget cannot be kept without a redesign or removing content you want
- More than two pages go over budget in a month
How you know it held. Each month you get a table of weight, largest image and median Largest Contentful Paint of five Lighthouse runs on the baseline's settings for every named page, with last month's figures beside them, and a before and after for each fix.
How we keep it true
This service is never finished. Each month's table shows whether the named pages stayed inside the budget, and it continues until you end it.
Make one slow landing page on your site builder meet an agreed weight and speed budget Job Each time it fires
One page on Webflow, Squarespace or Wix is brought under a page-weight and lab-speed budget agreed from a measured baseline, without a redesign, using only what the builder allows.
Up to two pages a month, as agreed
A small fix is the stand-alone method applied to what was added since the last measurement, against a budget already agreed; a page that needs a new baseline or more than three items is quoted at the stand-alone job's price.
What is included, and what is not
- The monthly measurement table for each page
- A fix with before and after measurements for each page that went over budget
- A note of what the builder does not let you change
Included
- A measurement once each calendar month, on a day agreed in writing, of up to three named pages against a budget agreed from a baseline measured once at the start. The measures are total transferred weight, the largest image, and the median Largest Contentful Paint (the lab time for the largest content item to show) of five Lighthouse runs with its default mobile settings
- Finding what was added since last month when a page goes over budget
- Small fixes inside the builder, up to two pages a month. A small fix undoes what was added since the last measurement, at most three files or scripts on one page, against the budget already agreed; unused fixes do not carry over. A page that needs more than that, or a new baseline and budget, is quoted as the stand-alone speed job at its listed price
- A short written summary each month with the measurements side by side
Not included
- Redesign, new images or new copy
- Any promise about search ranking, advertising scores or real-user performance data
- Removing marketing tags or videos without your decision
- Moving the site off the builder
How we know it’s done
Agreed with you before work starts. Each check produces evidence you keep.
Each month the table shows weight, largest image and median Largest Contentful Paint of five Lighthouse runs on the baseline's settings for every named page against the agreed budget.
Evidence: The monthly measurement table with the tool, settings and run dates.
For each page over budget, a fix brings it to or under the budget or the summary says why it could not.
Evidence: Before and after measurements for that page.
No named page changes in look or function except where you approved.
Evidence: Side-by-side screenshots at desktop and phone widths.
Sign-off. You read each monthly table and accept each fix. A fix counts as delivered when you accept it.
If it fails. If we cannot bring a page under budget, we say so, explain what we found and what it would take, and it does not count against the monthly number. If the service is not working for you, you can end it at the end of any month.
When it fits, and when we stop
It fits when
- Up to three public pages on one Webflow, Squarespace or Wix site
- You can say which images, scripts and embeds are essential
- A person on your side approves any removal of a tag, video or font
We stop and tell you if
- The weight comes mainly from a third-party app or frame the builder cannot optimise and you will not remove
- Pages change faster than the budget can be kept, so we agree a different scope
- The budget would need a redesign to meet
What could go wrong
Original images and any removed script text are kept, so each change can be put back. Ending the service leaves the pages as they are.
Scroll the table sideways to read it all.
| Risk | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Lab figures move for reasons unrelated to the page. | We use the same tool and settings, report the median of several runs and the spread, and never a single score. |
| A fix changes how the page looks. | You approve any visible change after seeing before and after versions. |
| A removed script breaks tracking. | Nothing is removed without your decision and the affected tag is re-checked afterwards. |
| A page goes over budget between two monthly measurements and nobody sees it until the next one. | This is a monthly measurement, not continuous monitoring. Tell us when you add a video, image set or tag and we measure before and after it goes on. |
An independent reviewer checks the redacted before and after evidence, the list of changes and the way back, and looks separately at anything that touches customer data, payments or logins, before you see the result.
Stays with a person
- You approve any removal of a tag, video or font
- Your account holder publishes every change
Access we would need
- Builder access to one site at the role named in the access section, kept in place until you end the service or remove it
- Public access to the named pages for measurement
Questions
How is this different from a one-off speed fix?
A one-off fix brings one page under a budget once. This service measures your named pages every month and fixes what pushed any of them over.
Will it improve my search ranking?
We make no promise about ranking. We report weight and lab Largest Contentful Paint.
Do you remove my tracking tags?
Not without your decision. We show what each tag costs and you decide which stay.
Is it continuous monitoring?
No. It is one measurement each calendar month and a fix for what pushed a page over. If you add something between measurements, tell us and we measure sooner.
Send an enquiry
Send us
- The addresses of the pages and the builder
- Any earlier speed test results you have, with dates
- The items on each page that must stay
Later, once you agree
- Builder access at the role named in the access section, set up by you and removable at any time
- Your decision on every tag, video and font the baseline lists
- The budget figures agreed from the baseline
You keep the live site, the builder account, the domain and all customer data. Access is agreed with you in writing before any work starts, and no work starts until it is. Any access we use is through a company-controlled account, never a personal login. The role depends on the builder. Webflow: the Designer or Site manager role, on a paid full seat in your Workspace (or a guest invitation, which Webflow allows only to a Freelancer or Agency Workspace); changing scripts needs the custom code section, which Webflow gives only to those two roles. Squarespace: the Administrator permission, because only owners and administrators can make design changes (such as fonts) or add code injection. Wix: the Website Manager role; Wix's pages do not say which role reaches every setting this service touches, so we confirm that in your dashboard before quoting. A standing service keeps this access in place month after month: the same role stays until you end the service or remove it. You remove it in the builder's own people or permissions settings, and our monthly tests stop from that moment. We name the exact role and any seat or plan charge in the quote before you invite anyone; those charges are yours. You can remove our access at any time. No passwords or payment details go by ordinary email, and your authorised account holder publishes the final change.
