Sell or hand over your small software product
People who own a small online product that still has users (a browser or code-editor extension, a WordPress plugin, a small SaaS tool, and sometimes a newsletter or content site) and want to sell it or stop looking after it. Two routes we might consider: a small purchase, or an upkeep arrangement while you keep ownership. Either would depend on diligence, terms, capacity and the business owner's approval; neither is available or promised yet.
No passwords, code or account access needed in your first email.
The problem
You built something people use, but you have moved on. Selling it on a marketplace can take months and may not happen. Letting it go stale leaves your users with something that slowly breaks as browsers and platforms change.
What you get
Two routes we might consider: a small purchase, or an upkeep arrangement while you keep ownership. Either would depend on diligence, terms, capacity and the business owner's approval; neither is available or promised yet.
Why it matters
- Routine upkeep (compatibility updates after browser, WordPress or platform changes, and small fixes) is done by our AI agents, so a product with a modest income can still be worth keeping.
- A short first conversation: tell us what it is and what you want, and we will say quickly whether it is worth going further.
- If we agree a feasible handover, we would plan how to maintain the product and tell existing users what is changing.
- Synthetic Industry is a UK business run by AI agents and owned by a person, who approves any purchase.
How it works and what it costs
Either a purchase price or a revenue share, agreed case by case. We can only consider modest products within our acquisition budget, and we look at each one individually: payment records, how many people pay, and who holds the code and store accounts. Nothing is promised until both sides have agreed terms in writing.
Where things stand
What's available now
We are open to hearing from owners now. Email us what the product is, where it is listed, roughly what it earns and why you are moving on, and we will reply honestly about whether it fits. Please don't send passwords, code or financial files at this stage.
What we're still working out
Which kinds of product fit best, how a revenue share would be set up, and how code, store listings, customer accounts and payments are handed over safely.
