Project

Move one Wix or Squarespace site to Webflow, checked page by page

Up to 60 old addresses (for example 10 pages and 50 posts) move from Wix or Squarespace to Webflow with a redirect map and working forms; you accept it before your domain is switched.

This asks for a proposal by email. Nothing is charged, and nothing starts, until you have agreed the list, the price and the terms in writing.

The result you are buying

Neither builder gives a full export. Wix cannot export blog posts or host a site elsewhere, and Squarespace exports only some page types, with no store pages, style settings, custom CSS or bulk image export. A move is therefore a rebuild, and the risks are pages that silently go missing, old addresses that stop working and forms that stop delivering.

Who it’s for: Owner of a small Wix or Squarespace site that has outgrown the builder, who wants the content, page addresses and forms to arrive intact.

Usually starts when: You need something the builder cannot do, such as a content structure, more control of speed or hosting, and you fear losing pages, links and enquiries in the move.

The result: Every page and post on an agreed list exists on the new Webflow site with matching text, images and page titles, every old address redirects to the right new page or is on a signed-off exceptions list, each form delivers a test submission, and you accept the build on Webflow's staging address before the domain is switched. After the switch, every old address is tested on the live domain.

How the work fits together

The project is complete in two stages. Stage 1: you have accepted every page and post on the agreed list on Webflow's staging address, or removed it in writing, and the form tests. Stage 2: your account holder has switched the domain and the live test of every old address passes, or you have accepted in writing any address left on the exceptions list. You accept the finished move, not each internal step.

  1. Redirect up to 60 old addresses to your new site and keep page titles and descriptions Job Included

Up to 60 old addresses redirect permanently in one hop to the right new page, or are listed with the builder's reason; each new page keeps its old title and description unless you chose new ones.

    Up to 60 old addresses

The same job you can buy on its own, run on the new Webflow site. Here the rules are checked on the staging address first and the live test runs after the switch.

  2. Import up to 200 blog posts from a CSV into your Webflow or Wix CMS, every field mapped Job Optional

Up to 200 posts from a spreadsheet land in one Webflow or Wix CMS collection, each column mapped to its field and checked row by row, without overwriting anything by accident.

When the posts can be put in a spreadsheet

Used for the posts when they are in a spreadsheet; the stand-alone job covers up to 200 rows.

  3. Get your own domain connected and its HTTPS certificate issued on your site builder Job Each time it fires

Your domain opens your Webflow, Squarespace or Wix site over HTTPS with no warning, using a list of the records to keep and remove, and your email records left unchanged.

Only if the connection stalls at cutover on a Webflow site

The same job you can buy on its own.

How an engagement works

The price covers the agreed list only. Pages or posts added later are quoted separately.

How it starts

  1. You send the old site's address and confirm the new site is to be on Webflow.

  2. We list the pages, posts, forms and images, check what the old builder lets you export, and propose a fixed price for the list.

  3. You agree the list, price and terms in writing. Nothing starts before then.

  4. We rebuild page by page, send each page for you to compare with the old one, load the redirects and test the forms.

  5. You accept the build on Webflow's staging address, your account holder switches the domain with our checklist, we test every old address on the live domain, and we send the final summary.

Who decides what

You decide the list and accept each page. Your account holder owns the domain, publishes the new site and carries out the switch.

Handover

The new site sits in your Webflow project. Anything unfinished is handed back with notes.

Sharing your product safely. Send the address of the site, never logins or customer data. After you agree the project, give Webflow access at the role named in the access section and send images and text files.

What is included, and what is not

  • The new site in your Webflow project, ready for you to publish on your own plan
  • The parity sheet, the redirect test sheets (the staging check and the live test) and the exceptions list of old addresses that cannot be redirected, with the reason for each
  • The cutover checklist and the steps to go back to the old site

Included

  • One Wix or Squarespace site with up to 60 old addresses in all (for example 10 pages and 50 blog posts; a blog index and any category or tag addresses count towards the 60), rebuilt on Webflow to match the current layout, colours and images as closely as Webflow allows rather than redesigned. Fonts or animations that cannot carry over are listed and replaced with substitutes you approve
  • A list of every old page and address, a parity sheet comparing text, images, links, titles and descriptions page by page, and side-by-side screenshots of each old page and its new page at desktop, tablet and phone widths
  • Redirects from the old addresses loaded in the Webflow project, checked against their target pages on the staging address before the switch, and tested on every old address on the live domain after the switch; the working of up to three forms on the new site, each tested
  • A cutover plan with the way back, which your account holder carries out; the old site is kept untouched at its builder until the live redirect test passes

Not included

  • Redesign, new copy, new photography or branding
  • Online stores, bookings, member areas, multiple languages or integrations beyond the three forms
  • A WordPress or other target: this fixed project builds on Webflow only, and another target needs a separate quote
  • Choosing or paying for your Webflow plan, or moving email
  • Promises about search rankings or traffic after the move

How we know it’s done

Agreed with you before work starts. Each check produces evidence you keep.

  1. Every page and post on the agreed list has a counterpart on the new site, and the parity sheet shows its text, images, links, title and description compared with no unexplained difference.

Evidence: The parity sheet with a result on every row and screenshots of any difference you approved.

  2. Before the switch, each redirect rule on the approved map is loaded in the Webflow project and its target page opens on the staging address.

Evidence: An export of the project's redirect list and a status check of every target page on the staging address.

  3. After your account holder switches the domain, every mapped old address returns a permanent redirect and lands on its mapped new page in one hop, counted from the canonical https address named in the sheet (a hop that only adds https or www is recorded but not counted), and addresses marked gone show the not-found page you approved. Addresses on the signed-off exceptions list are not in this count.

Evidence: The live redirect test sheet with status code, final address and hop count for each, run after the switch.

  4. Each form on the new site delivers a labelled test submission to the named inbox and is stored.

Evidence: A test log for each form with the received message.

  5. At desktop, tablet and phone widths each new page shows no cut-off text or horizontal scrolling, and matches its old page in section order, text and images; every other visible difference (fonts, spacing, animation) is on the parity sheet and approved by you or fixed.

Evidence: Side-by-side screenshots of each old page and its new page at all three widths.

Sign-off. You compare each page with the old one on the staging address, send your own form test and accept the build before the domain is switched. After the switch you open ten old links of your choice and we run the full live test; the project is complete when it passes.

If it fails. Anything we cannot move is named with the reason and what it would take, and is taken off the list with a matching change to the price. A redirect that fails the live test is corrected, or goes on the exceptions list with the reason, or your account holder uses the way back. Nothing is billed as delivered that you have not accepted.

When it fits, and when we stop

It fits when

  • The site is on Wix or Squarespace, has no more than 60 old addresses in all, and you own the content
  • You hold the Webflow Workspace, a paid site plan that allows a custom domain and has room for the posts as CMS items (the quote checks the plan's limits), and the domain account
  • You can keep the old site live until you accept the new one, and leave it untouched at its builder until the live test passes

We stop and tell you if

  • The site has a store, bookings or members that must move, which this project does not cover
  • You cannot keep the old site live for the check, or cannot access the domain account
  • The content is not yours to move
  • You want the new site on WordPress or another platform, which needs a separate quote

What could go wrong

We do not change or cancel the old site. Switching back is repointing the domain records to the old values recorded in the checklist.

Scroll the table sideways to read it all.

RiskHow we handle it
Content that the old builder cannot export is missed. We list what cannot be exported at the start and rebuild it from the live pages, with every page on the parity sheet.
Old addresses stop working at the switch.Every old address is mapped before the switch and each rule is checked against its target on the staging address. The live test follows straight after the switch, and the way back is ready if it fails.
Forms look right but do not deliver. Each form gets a labelled test submission to the named inbox before sign-off.
Fonts or animations on the old site cannot be reproduced in Webflow.Webflow says fonts offered through Wix are licensed only for use within a Wix site and some Wix animations may not carry over, so we list every font and animation that cannot move and you approve a substitute.

An independent reviewer checks the redacted before and after evidence, the list of changes and the way back, and looks separately at anything that touches customer data, payments or logins, before you see the result.

Stays with a person

  • You accept each page and the form tests on the staging address
  • Your account holder switches the domain and publishes to the live domain
  • You accept in writing any address left on the exceptions list

Access we would need

  • Webflow access to the new site at the Site manager role
  • Public access to the old pages for comparison

Questions

Can you copy my site automatically?

No. Neither builder gives a full export, so a move is a rebuild checked page by page. The first step is a list of what can and cannot be exported.

Will my rankings stay the same?

No one can promise that. We map and test every old address and carry over titles and descriptions, which reduces avoidable loss.

Can I keep my old site until I am happy?

Yes. We do not change or cancel the old site, and it stays at its builder until you have accepted the new one and the live redirect test has passed, so the domain can be pointed back.

Can you move me to WordPress instead?

Not in this fixed project, which builds on Webflow only. A WordPress target needs a separate quote.

Send an enquiry

Send us

  • The address of the current site and the builder it is on
  • Confirmation that the new site is to be on Webflow, and the Webflow plan you hold or will buy
  • A rough count of pages and posts and whether you have a store, bookings or members

Later, once you agree

  • Webflow access to the new site as a Site manager, on a paid full seat or a guest invitation as agreed in writing, set up by you and removable at any time. We do not need a login to the old site: we work from its public pages and the files you send
  • The original images and any text files you hold, and decisions on pages to drop. Where you hold no originals we use the web-size images on your live pages, and the parity sheet says so
  • A named person to accept each page and the cutover

You keep the live site, the builder account, the domain and all customer data. Access is agreed with you in writing before any work starts, and no work starts until it is. Any access we use is through a company-controlled account, never a personal login. This project builds on Webflow and needs the Webflow Site manager role on the new site, which Webflow describes as managing all site settings (the redirect rules sit in site settings), on a paid full seat in your Workspace (or a guest invitation, which Webflow allows only to a Freelancer or Agency Workspace). We do not ask for any access to the old Wix or Squarespace site: the pages we compare are public and the files come from you. Your authorised account holder holds the domain account, switches the domain and publishes to the live domain. We name the exact role and any seat or plan charge in the quote before you invite anyone; those charges are yours. You can remove our access at any time. No passwords or payment details go by ordinary email, and your authorised account holder publishes the final change.

A public HTTPS link only, without login details, query strings or fragments. No code or logs.

Sending emails your enquiry and contact address to our team through our mail provider (Resend). It is not kept in a website database. Do not send passwords, keys, recovery links, confidential code or customer records. Your contact email is unverified; nothing is ordered, charged or reserved. Privacy notice.
