Job content-briefs-for-a-human-writer · revised 12 October 2026
Give your writer a proper brief for each page you should write
Up to ten briefs, each with a target query from your own export, intent, headings, sources with working links and claims not to make. We write and publish no article.
You might be seeing
- Pages are written with no clear query in mind
- Sources are added late and some links do not work
No passwords, keys, card details or admin invites needed to start.
What usually happened
A writer without a brief picks topics by instinct and cites sources late. A brief that cites a source which does not say what it claims wastes a day. The spam risk lies in what happens next: unreviewed bulk publishing.
Who it’s for: Marketer with a subject expert but no time for search research.
Usually starts when: The expert is ready to write and nobody has decided what the page should cover.
The result: You receive a capped number of briefs, each with a target query from your own export, search intent, headings, questions to answer, sources to cite with working links, internal links and claims not to make. We write and publish no article.

How we know it’s done
Agreed with you before work starts. Each check produces evidence you keep.
Every brief's target query exists in your export.
Evidence: The query-to-brief table with export rows.
Every source URL returns 200, and in 5 briefs you choose, your named person confirms each source says what the brief says it does.
Evidence: The status check and your named person's marks.
No two briefs share a primary query.
Evidence: The query list.
Your writer marks each brief usable or not, and the count is reported.
Evidence: The writer's marks.
Sign-off. You re-run the test yourself, check the list of severe errors and sign off in writing. Payment follows sign-off.
If it fails. If the agreed pass mark is not met, we say so, hand over the results and the failures, and do not call the output working. You do not pay for this scope; we agree whether to stop or re-quote.
When it fits, and when we stop
It fits when
- A human writer with subject knowledge will write each page
- A Search Console export with queries
- A named person reviews and publishes
We stop and tell you if
- The briefs will feed unreviewed bulk AI publishing
- You want us to write the pages
- There is no human writer
What could go wrong
The job writes documents only, so there is nothing to undo.
Scroll the table sideways to read it all.
| Risk | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Briefs feed unreviewed bulk publishing | A cap of ten applies, a human writer is a condition, and we stop if the briefs will feed bulk publishing. |
| A cited source does not say what the brief claims | Every source URL is checked, and five briefs are checked in full. |
| Two briefs target the same query | A check confirms no two briefs share a primary query. |
A separate automated reviewer checks the queries, the sources and the overlaps between briefs before hand-over, and no person on our side reviews unless your agreement names one. Your writer marks each brief usable or not, and your person reviews and publishes any page. At launch the work is largely automated, and we say so.
How we deliver
We arrange the work and independent review, then show you the result against the agreed checks. You keep authority over your systems.
- Agree the number of briefs, the template and the claims rules
- Receive the Search Console export by the agreed route
- Pick target queries and write intent, headings and questions
- Find sources and check each link and what it says
- Independent automated review of queries, sources and duplicates
- Hand over the briefs for your writer to mark
This is a one-off job, not a subscription or emergency cover. We confirm eligibility, price, a start window and a delivery date before you accept, and work starts only after agreed inputs and access are in place. Nothing is sent, merged, posted or changed in your live systems by us, and an enquiry creates no charge or booking.
Need to keep it working?
Discuss a monthly batch of up to ten briefs.
Ongoing work is separately scoped and quoted: no monitoring, response-time guarantee or automatic subscription is included in this job.
Mention the responsibility you need in your enquiry.
What you can check
This is a new service. We have not delivered this job for a client yet.
Other ways to get this done
- Your writer can draft their own outline from the top search results for each query. A brief adds checked sources and internal links to that outline.
Questions
Will you write the articles?
No. A person writes them.
Is this the same as AI content?
No. We write a plan, not the page. Automated systems draft the briefs and a separate automated reviewer checks them; your writer writes the page.
Can I get fifty briefs?
The cap is ten. More are quoted, and the writer condition stays.
Send an enquiry
Send us
- The site, the topic area and who will write
- How many pages you plan to write
- Pages you already have on the topic
Later, once you agree
- A Search Console export you generate
- A list of existing pages to link to
- A secure handoff route agreed before the export is shared
You keep Search Console and the site. We read an export you generate and public pages, and we publish nothing.
