Job store-reorder-sheet-from-order-history · revised 12 October 2026

Get a reorder sheet from your own sales history, now that Stocky has closed

A reorder sheet per SKU with reorder point, order quantity and cover days from 12 to 24 months of orders, out-of-stock days removed, tested against your last eight weeks.

You might be seeing

  • You do not know how much to reorder of each product
  • Best sellers keep running out

No passwords, keys, card details or admin invites needed to start.

What usually happened

Reorder tools often treat a sold-out day as a day nobody wanted the product, so best sellers look slow and get under-ordered again. One reorder rule for every SKU also over-orders slow movers. Forecasts can look clever and still lose to a simple average.

Who it’s for: Owner or buyer at a store that used Stocky for purchase orders and reorder suggestions and now has nothing that does the same.

Usually starts when: Stocky is no longer available, and you want reorder suggestions and an exportable purchase order again.

The result: You get a reorder sheet per SKU with reorder point, order quantity and cover days, from 12 to 24 months of orders with out-of-stock days removed. The formula is written down, and the sheet is tested against your last eight weeks and compared with a flat-average baseline.

  • Out-of-stock days removed from demand
  • Reorder point, order quantity and cover days per SKU, from your supplier lead times

  • Forecasts for new products with no history
  • Promising any level of accuracy
  • Supplier negotiation
  • Money decisions on how much stock to buy
  • More than 300 SKUs without a quote

How we know it’s done

Agreed with you before work starts. Each check produces evidence you keep.

  1. Your reviewer recomputes the formula on 10 SKUs and each matches the sheet.

Evidence: The recomputation beside the sheet.

  2. The backtest on the last eight weeks, which we do not see until the run, shows recommended against sold quantities and stock-out days per SKU, compared with a flat-average baseline, and states which wins; wins means a lower total absolute error between recommended and sold units across all SKUs on those eight weeks. If ours does not win, we hand over the baseline.

    Evidence: The backtest table.

  3. SKUs with too little data are listed with no recommendation.

    Evidence: The thin-data list.

  4. The CSV purchase-order export opens with the columns you named.

Evidence: The export and your column list.

Sign-off. You re-run the acceptance checks with the steps we hand over, read the results and sign off in writing. Payment follows sign-off.

If it fails. If an agreed check fails, you do not pay for this fixed scope. We hand over what we found and agree whether to stop or re-quote; no surprise work.

When it fits, and when we stop

It fits when

  • Order lines (SKU, date, quantity) and stock levels are available, ideally for 12 months or more; with less the sheet is weaker and SKUs with too little history get no recommendation
  • You can send supplier lead times
  • You can export these without customer data
  • A named person recomputes 10 SKUs and decides orders

We stop and tell you if

  • You want us to place purchase orders
  • Most SKUs are new, with under 12 months of history
  • Stock levels by day cannot be reconstructed at all
  • You want a promise about forecast accuracy

What could go wrong

The job works on copies of files you send and returns files and a report. Nothing in your store or helpdesk is changed by us, so there is nothing to undo. Our copies of your files are deleted when the job ends.

RiskHow we handle it
The sheet is read as a forecast you can rely on.The backtest says plainly which method wins on your last eight weeks, and the sheet promises no accuracy.
Stock-out days are read as low demand. They are removed, and SKUs with too many gaps get no recommendation.
Over-ordering ties up money. The sheet suggests quantities only. You decide the orders.

A separate automated reviewer checks the work and the test results before hand-over. Your named person recomputes ten SKUs and places every order. No human supervisor from us is included unless your agreement names one, and at launch the work is largely automated.

How we deliver

We arrange the work and independent review, then show you the result against the agreed checks. You keep authority over your systems.

  • Agree the SKUs, lead times, cover days and the held-back eight weeks
  • Receive order lines and stock levels
  • Remove out-of-stock days and write the formula
  • Backtest on the held-back weeks against a flat-average baseline
  • Your reviewer recomputes 10 SKUs; a separate automated reviewer checks the rest
  • Hand over the sheet, backtest and CSV

This is a one-off job, not emergency cover or a subscription. We confirm eligibility, price, start window and delivery date in writing before you accept, and work starts only after the agreed inputs are in place. An enquiry creates no charge or booking.

Need to keep it working?

Discuss a monthly refresh of the sheet.

Ongoing work is separately scoped and quoted: no monitoring, response-time guarantee or automatic subscription is included in this job.

Explore an ongoing managed lane, or mention the responsibility you need in your enquiry.

What you can check

This is a new service. We have not delivered this job for a client yet.

Other ways to get this done

  • Use Shopify's built-in inventory tools and set a reorder level for your best sellers by hand.
  • Use a reorder app and still check its suggestions against your own sales.

Questions

Is this a forecast?

It is a reorder sheet from your past sales. The backtest says whether it beat a simple average on your data.

Can you keep it updated?

A monthly refresh service is available. This job is one sheet.

Will you order for me?

No. You place every order.

Does a pass mean it will be right next month?

No. A pass describes items like the test sample on the day of the test. It is not a promise about future items, and it does not replace your own checking.

Send an enquiry

Send us

  • How many SKUs and how long you have been selling them
  • How you export order lines and stock levels
  • Typical supplier lead times
  • No customer data or store login

Later, once you agree

  • Order lines and stock levels up to eight weeks ago through an agreed secure route; the last eight weeks stay sealed until the test run
  • Supplier lead times per supplier
  • Your target cover days per group of SKUs
  • The name of the person who orders

You keep your store, your helpdesk and every login. We work on the files you send through a secure route agreed after you say yes, and hand back files and a report. We never ask for store or helpdesk logins, and nothing goes live until your named person applies it.

A public HTTPS link only, without login details, query strings or fragments. No code or logs.

Sending emails your enquiry and contact address to our team through our mail provider (Resend). It is not kept in a website database. Do not send passwords, keys, recovery links, confidential code or customer records. Your contact email is unverified; nothing is ordered, charged or reserved. Privacy notice.
