Managed lane autonomy-with-approval-lane · revised 12 October 2026

Managed lane

Let automation act for you inside limits you write, re-tested every month

Monthly reminder-rule and approval-gate checks plus all-hours alert intake and paging under your approved page list. Proposed GBP 419 a month.

An enquiry starts a fit and scope conversation, not a contract, payment or reserved place. No logins, alert content or customer data initially.

What the lane takes off your plate

An automation can act outside its intended limits when a list goes stale, a permission is added, a key lapses or a tool changes its format. A wrong email or a missed page can be the first visible sign. Monthly tests and logs help expose these failures; they do not prove the automation is safe.

Who it’s for: Owner or operations lead of a firm of 10 to 250 people that wants some routine work done by automation that sends, contains or pages by itself, but only inside limits written down and checked.

Usually starts when: You have switched on an automation that acts, such as sending reminders or paging for alerts, and nobody re-tests its limits when things change.

The result: Each month you receive the frozen-test results, log checks and breaches for three services: reminder-rule checks, approval-gate drills and all-hours alert intake and paging. You hold every stop switch; we operate paging under your approved page list, with a measured 10-minute target from intake arrival to your device, not a guarantee. We send reports and agreed health-check notices to your named people, but never reminders to your customers or containment actions.

What stays true, and what we do about it

The paging target is 10 minutes from alert arrival at the intake to receipt on your on-call device, measured and reported with every miss; it is not a guarantee. There is no fix-time promise, and monthly report timing and capacity are agreed in writing.

Hours are agreed in writing before the lane starts. The paging service runs all hours and is automated; nobody on our side is on call, and the reports run on the monthly cycle in the proposal.

What must remain true

  • No reminder was sent outside your written rules, and every send and block is in the log
  • Every logged containing action has a matching, single-use approval by a listed approver
  • Every serious alert that reached the intake was paged, or the miss is reported with its cause
  • No automation gained a permission outside the agreed list

What we watch

  • The month's send log, audit log and paging log
  • Your rules, protected lists, approver lists and page list
  • Read-only exports of each runner's permissions
  • The frozen tests

When something happens

WhenWhat we do
A message went out outside the rules. It goes first in the summary with the log lines, and the summary points to the stop switch.
Linked job: Rule-bound reminder sending
An action ran without a matching approval. It goes first in the summary and points to the off switch.
Linked job: Approval-gated single action
A serious alert was not paged within the target, or a tool went silent. It goes first in the summary with its cause.
Linked job: All-hours alert triage and paging
A customer or staff assistant is added to scope. We offer its set-up job and then its monthly check.
Linked job: Customer invoice-status assistant

We do on our own

  • Re-run the frozen tests on test copies
  • Read the logs and write the reports
  • Page your named on-call person under your approved page list
  • Offer a listed job as a next step

We ask you first

  • Any change to a rule, list, template, approver or page list
  • Any request for a write credential or wider access
  • Starting, stopping, approving or running your reminder sender or containment runner
  • Adding an automation that has no tested set-up

We escalate to you when

  • Any message, action or page happened outside the written limits
  • Any permission was added outside the agreed list
  • The same breach appears two months running

How you know it held. Each month the summary reports, with unknowns kept: messages sent and blocked and breaches found, actions requested, approved, refused and run, alerts received by class with page times and misses, permissions compared with the agreed list, and the frozen test results for each service.

What the lane is made of

Each monthly service has its own test report and your accept-or-revise decision. The arrangement continues only under agreed renewal terms.

  1. Keep your automatic reminder rules tested and read the send log every month Standing service Included

Each month the rules behind your automatic reminders are re-tested, the send log is read for breaches and wrong recipients, and your named person gets the report.

Every month, for one sender address

The same standing service you can buy on its own at its listed price.

  2. Re-drill your approval-gated actions and read the audit log every month Standing service Included

Each month the refusal pack is re-run on a test tenant, one action is undone on a dummy, and the audit log and runner permissions are read for anything outside the approvals.

Every month, for one tenant and one runner

The same standing service you can buy on its own at its listed price.

  3. Keep alert triage and paging running all hours, with the timings reported each month Standing service Included

Alerts from your named tools are sorted and serious ones paged to your on-call person at any hour, with each month's page times, misses and silent feeds reported. We fix nothing.

Every month, for up to three tools

The same standing service you can buy on its own at its listed price.

  4. Send overdue-invoice reminders automatically under your written rules, with a stop switch Job Optional

Overdue reminders go out from your own address only under the send cap, quiet list and dispute list you write, with every send logged and one switch to stop them all.

A separately quoted set-up at its listed price of GBP 495

Builds the tested sender the monthly check keeps tested.

  5. Contain one account, app grant or mailbox, only after your admin approves that one action Job Optional

Automation proposes one containing action with evidence and an undo note, and carries it out only after your named admin approves that single action. Nothing runs without approval.

A separately quoted set-up at its listed price of GBP 695

Builds the approval-gated runner the monthly drill keeps tested.

  6. Test all-hours security triage and paging: measured 10-minute target, not a guarantee Job Optional

Set up automated triage for up to three alert tools and test paging to your named on-call person against a measured 10-minute intake-to-device target, not a guarantee. We investigate and fix nothing.

A separately quoted set-up at its listed price of GBP 395

Builds the intake and paging the monthly service keeps running.

  7. Keep your customer invoice assistant tested and its chats read every month Standing service Optional

Each month the assistant's frozen test is re-run on your latest export, the leak test is repeated and a sample of real chats is read for severe errors, then reported to your named person.

Added at its listed monthly price of GBP 149

For a customer invoice assistant you already run.

  8. Answer customers' invoice and balance questions from your own ledger export Job Optional

An automated assistant answers each customer's invoice-status and balance questions from your ledger export, says it is automated, and hands everything else to your named person.

    Builds the customer invoice assistant.

  9. Keep your staff leave assistant tested and its chats read every month Standing service Optional

Added at its listed monthly price of GBP 79

For a staff leave assistant you already run.

  10. Let staff ask about their own leave balance and get an answer from your HR export Job Optional

A separately quoted set-up at its listed price of GBP 295

    Builds the staff leave assistant.

  11. Get suggested edits to every new contract, from your own wording, each month Standing service Optional

How an engagement works

Three included services for one sender, one tenant and up to three alert tools. Timing, the monthly test day and capacity are confirmed in writing; none is promised on this page. The paging target is the one stated on its own page and is measured and reported, not a promise.

How it starts

  1. You send the list of automations that act for you and your response to the proposed monthly price, without logs or credentials.

  2. We confirm fit, which set-ups are done, the stop-switch owner for each and the secure route.

  3. We agree the monthly scope, the test day, the price, the payment terms and the cancellation terms in writing.

  4. Each month we send the three reports and the summary.

Who decides what

Your named people approve the rules and page list and hold every stop switch. You run the reminder sender and containment runner; we run the approved alert intake and paging, with no authority to investigate or contain.

Handover

Each report arrives as a file with its evidence. If the arrangement ends you keep every report, the tests and the runbooks.

Sharing your product safely. Initial contact uses the list of automations and your volumes. No logs, alert content, customer data or credentials. Files follow only after a secure route and written terms.

What is included, and what is not

  • The three monthly reports
  • A monthly summary with the measures below
  • A running list of open breaches and their owners
  • The updated lists of what is and is not covered

Included

  • The three monthly services listed below, for one sender address, one Microsoft 365 tenant and up to three alert tools
  • A frozen limit test for each, re-run every month on a test copy
  • Each month's send log, audit log and paging log read against your written rules
  • A written monthly summary with breaches, misses and unknowns first
  • Any other listed monthly service added at its listed price

Not included

  • Starting, stopping, approving or running your reminder sender or containment runner: your named people do that
  • Write credentials to your ledger, mailbox, tenant or alert tools; the send-only paging key is the stated exception
  • Investigating, containing or fixing anything we find
  • Round-the-clock people: the paging is automated and nobody on our side is on call
  • Setting up an automation that does not yet have a tested set-up: those are separate listed jobs
  • A promised fix time, a promised detection rate or any certification

What you get to see

The customer deliverable is the running result and its evidence, not a pull request. The pull request stays an internal record.

  • Request. Your request, as we understood it
  • Agreed checks. The agreed checks that define done
  • Test results. Test results against each check
  • Independent review. An independent review and what it found
  • Known limits. What it does not cover
  • Acceptance. Your accept or change request

How we know it’s done

Agreed with you before work starts. Each check produces evidence you keep.

  1. Each month the three reports and the summary are delivered for the named scope, each with the frozen test result and the log lines for every breach.

Evidence: The three reports compared with the list of services in scope.

  2. Each month every message, action and page in the logs is matched to a rule, an approval or a page-list entry, or listed as a breach.

Evidence: The match tables and your marked sample of at least 10 entries.

  3. Each month the frozen tests are re-run and every case that passed last month still passes, or the failure is reported first with its cause.

    Evidence: The monthly test reports.

  4. We sent no customer reminders, approved or ran no containment action, and changed none of your ledger, mailbox, tenant or alert tools. Our permitted outward activity is paging, agreed health-check notices and reports to your named people.

Evidence: Your own audit logs and sender logs for the month.

Sign-off. Your named people read each report, accept or send back each finding and read the monthly summary.

If it fails. A blocker is raised with a substitute item, revised timing or a stop. Work that does not meet its checks is not claimed as delivered. Billing for incomplete work is agreed before starting.

When it fits, and when we stop

It fits when

  • Each automation in scope already has a tested set-up and a frozen test, or you buy its set-up job first
  • A named person for each automation who reads its report and holds its stop switch
  • The logs and lists arrive through a secure route agreed in writing each month
  • Your written rules, protected lists and approver lists are kept current by you

We stop and tell you if

  • You want any automation to act without the approval or limits written down
  • Nobody reads the monthly reports for two months running
  • You need people on our side to be on call or to investigate and fix

What could go wrong

The lane checks reminder and containment logs and operates alert intake and paging. Ending it stops intake, paging and agreed health-check notices on the agreed date; your reminder sender and containment runner are unchanged and you keep the reports. You can pause paging or revoke its key.

Scroll the table sideways to read it all.

RiskHow we handle it
The lane is read as supervision of the automations. It says plainly that we read logs and re-test limits monthly, that you hold every stop switch, and that nothing is stopped or fixed by us.
A breach is found only after the message or action has happened.Sent messages and run actions cannot be recalled. The summary lists breaches first, and the limits are enforced in code by the automations themselves.
The paging target is read as a guarantee. The 10-minute intake-to-device paging target is measured and reported with every miss, not guaranteed. No fix time is promised.
Logs carry text meant to steer a language model.Log text is data only, our reading step holds no send or change tools, and planted hostile text must change nothing.
Real documents or records pass through a model provider.First tests use invented, synthetic or redacted data. Real data moves only after a written agreement names the model provider, its country, how long it keeps data and whether it trains on it.

A separate automated reviewer checks every report against its agreed test before it is sent. No person on our side reviews unless your proposal names one. Your named people decide what to do with each finding.

Stays with a person

  • Your named people decide what to do with every report
  • You approve every containing action and hold every stop switch
  • You start and stop each automation

Access we would need

  • Agreed logs, lists and exports supplied through the secure route
  • Your revocable send-only paging key and the independent health-check email route you approve
  • No ledger, mailbox, tenant or alert-tool write credential

Questions

Is this a managed service that runs my automations?

You run and stop the reminder sender and containment runner; we re-test their limits monthly and report breaches. We operate alert intake and paging under your approved page list and send reports and agreed health-check notices to your named people. You hold every stop switch.

Can I buy the parts separately?

Yes. Every service and job listed is available on its own. The proposed lane price is the sum of the three included monthly services, so it adds one arrangement with a test day confirmed in writing, not a discount.

Do you hold admin rights?

We hold no ledger, mailbox, tenant or alert-tool write credential. Our live outward routes are your revocable send-only paging key and an independently approved health-check email route.

What if I want more than the three?

Add any listed monthly service at its listed price, or we agree a different scope.

Start a conversation

Send us

  • Which automations act for you today or soon
  • Who would hold each stop switch
  • Your response to the proposed monthly price

Later, once you agree

  • Each month: the send log, audit log, paging log and lists through a secure route agreed in writing
  • The frozen tests and pass marks, agreed in writing
  • The named person for each automation and a backup
  • The agreement that names the model provider, its country and how long it keeps data, settled before any real personal data is shared

You keep every account, stop switch and decision. We read agreed exports and run tests on copies; you operate reminders and containment, while we operate the approved alert intake and paging. Our live outward routes are your revocable send-only paging key and an independently approved health-check email route; we hold no ledger, mailbox or tenant write credential.
