Standing service renewal-risk-list-every-week · revised 12 October 2026
Standing service
Get a weekly list of accounts renewing soon that show risk signals, with evidence
Each week you get accounts renewing in the window you set (for example 90 days) that show any agreed risk signal, with evidence and dates. Read-only: the account owner decides.
This starts a conversation by email. Nothing is charged, and nothing is run on your data, until we have agreed scope, access and terms with you in writing.
The responsibility you hand over
Risk signals change every week, and a list built once goes stale. Nobody has time to check each renewing account against four systems before a call. A bare score would be ignored, and a list without evidence cannot be acted on.
Who it’s for: Customer-success lead at a B2B firm with annual contracts.
Usually starts when: The one-off rules worked, and now the list is needed every week before renewals.
The result: Every week you receive the accounts renewing in the window you set (for example 90 days) that show any agreed risk signal, each with the evidence and its date. It is read-only, and the account owner decides.
What stays true, and what we do about it
No response-time guarantee is published for this new service. A target for delivering each list or record is agreed in writing before it starts, set to what a service at this stage can actually keep.
Hours are agreed in writing before the service starts. At launch the service is not staffed round the clock and runs on the cycle named here.
What must remain true
- Each week every renewing account with an agreed signal is listed with evidence
- No listed row has evidence that disagrees with its source system
What we watch
- Weekly exports of accounts and renewals
- The signal source exports
When something happens
Scroll the table sideways to read it all.
| When | What we do |
|---|---|
| A week closes. | We send the list. Linked job: Renewal risk list with evidence |
| A signal source stops delivering. | We say so in the list and do not guess. |
| An account is listed for four weeks running. | We flag it at the top for the owner. |
| A listed account churns. | We add it to the back-test and report the lead time. |
We do on our own
- Read the agreed exports and compare them
- Prepare the list and the summary
We ask you first
- Any change to a rule, a threshold or the data covered
- Any request for wider access to a system
- Starting any fix, merge, send or write
We escalate to you when
- A signal source fails for two weeks
- Listed accounts exceed a third of renewals
- Renewal dates stop updating
How you know it held. Each week a sample of rows can be checked against the source system, and the counts add up to renewing accounts.
How we keep it true
This service is never finished. Each period's record shows whether the thing it watches stayed true, and it continues until you end it.
See which accounts renewing soon look at risk, with evidence for each Job Optional
A list of accounts renewing in the window you set (for example 90 days) that show any agreed risk signal, each with the evidence and its date. Read-only; the account owner decides.
Bought separately; not part of the monthly fee
Needed first, priced on its own page: the one-off rules, test and back-test.
What is included, and what is not
- The weekly list with evidence
- The counts
- The monthly back-test update
- A note on any signal source that failed
Included
- The rules and signal sources from the one-off job
- A weekly list of renewing accounts with any signal, with evidence and dates
- A count of accounts listed, new this week and still open
- A monthly back-test update with sample sizes
Not included
- A churn probability or forecast
- Contacting any customer
- Changing any record
- A promise that an empty list means no risk
How we know it’s done
Agreed with you before work starts. Each check produces evidence you keep.
In a weekly sample of 10 rows, 0 evidence items mismatch the source system (a tripwire: 0 in 10 bounds the rate only under about 26%).
Evidence: The sample with your marks.
Listed plus not-listed accounts equal all renewing accounts in the window.
Evidence: The count reconciliation.
The monthly back-test reports churned accounts listed 60 or more days ahead, with sample sizes.
Evidence: The back-test table.
Sign-off. You read each weekly list and tell us whether the rules, thresholds and test set still suit you. A period counts as delivered when you have received the record.
If it fails. If we cannot complete a period because an input is missing or has changed shape, we say so, explain what we need and do not guess. If the service is not working for you, you can end it at the end of any month.
When it fits, and when we stop
It fits when
- The one-off job has been run, or is bought with this service
- Renewal dates are in the CRM
- Real records are read only after a written agreement that covers how your records are processed and a separate access step you control; until then we test on invented or redacted data.
We stop and tell you if
- A signal source stops being available
- You want a churn score
- No one acts on the list for three months
What could go wrong
The service only reads and reports, so there is nothing to undo.
Scroll the table sideways to read it all.
| Risk | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Noise or false comfort | The list says it is not a forecast and reports back-test counts monthly. |
| A signal is stale | Each row shows the evidence date. |
| The list is ignored | The counts show how many listed accounts were acted on, if you tell us. |
A separate automated reviewer checks each weekly list before it is sent, and no person on our side reviews unless your agreement names one. Your account owner decides what to do about each listed account. At launch the work is largely automated, and we say so.
Stays with a person
- Your account owner decides every action
- You approve any rule change
Access we would need
- Weekly exports or a read-only user for each system
Questions
Does it predict churn?
No. It lists agreed signals with evidence.
Does it contact customers?
Never. It reads exports and sends a list.
What if the list is empty?
It only means no agreed signal fired.
Send an enquiry
Send us
- Accounts that churned or renewed since last week
- Any signal added or retired
- Who receives the list
Later, once you agree
- Weekly exports for accounts, renewals and each signal source
- The approved rule sheet
- A secure handoff route agreed before any record is shared
You keep every system. We read agreed weekly exports and send the list. Which service reads your records is agreed in writing before any real record is shared.
