Standing service store-live-repricing-log-reviewed-and-limits-retested-every-month · revised 12 October 2026
Standing service
Have your repricing job's log read and its limits re-tested every month
Each month the repricing job's change log is re-computed against your floors and caps, the limit tests are re-run on a copy, and you get a report. Nothing is changed for you.
This starts a conversation by email. Nothing is charged, and nothing is monitored, until we have agreed scope, access and terms with you in writing.
The responsibility you hand over
A job that was safe at launch can drift as costs, ranges and platform behaviour change. Nobody reads a log nobody asked for. Limits that no one re-tests may have stopped working.
Who it’s for: Owner whose repricing job has been live for a month or more and who wants someone to check that it still stays inside its limits.
Usually starts when: A cost rise, a new product range or a platform update has changed what the job sees, and nobody has read the log.
The result: Every month the log of price changes is re-computed from your exports and checked against your floors, ceilings and daily limit. The limit tests are re-run on a copy, and you receive a report with anything that needs a rule change.
What stays true, and what we do about it
No response-time guarantee is published for this new service. A date for each monthly report is agreed in writing before it starts.
Hours are agreed in writing before the service starts. It runs once a month and is not staffed round the clock.
What must remain true
- Every price change in the month's log sits inside its floor, ceiling and daily limit when re-computed from your exports
- The limit tests still block every out-of-limit input on a copy
- The pause switch and the restore step still work on a copy
What we watch
- The month's change log export
- Price, cost and stock exports
- Your list of rule, floor and platform changes
When something happens
Scroll the table sideways to read it all.
| When | What we do |
|---|---|
| A month closes and the log export is available. | We re-compute every log row, re-run the limit tests and send the report. |
| You change a rule, a floor or a cap. | We re-run the limit tests on the new settings before you switch them on, and report any input that gets through. |
| The platform changes how prices or discounts work. | We re-run the pause and restore tests on a copy and say what changed. |
| A product hits its floor or ceiling several times in a month. | We list it first in the report, with the rule behind it. |
We do on our own
- Read the log and re-compute every row
- Re-run the limit, pause and restore tests on a copy
- Write the report and suggest rule changes
We ask you first
- Any request to add data beyond the agreed price, cost and stock exports
- Any change to a rule, setting or page in your own systems
- Any wider access than the exports named here
- Contacting your customers or anyone outside your team
We escalate to you when
- A logged price is below its floor or above its ceiling
- The log has fewer rows than your store's price history shows
- The job changed more products in a day than the daily limit allows
- The pause switch or the restore step fails on the copy
How you know it held. After the report is frozen, you choose 10 rows without showing your verdicts to us and reproduce every verdict using the limits effective at each change; a missed floor, ceiling, step or daily-limit breach fails this report check.
How we keep it true
This service is never finished. Each month's report shows whether the things it watches stayed true, and it continues until you end it.
Let prices change on their own inside your floors and caps, with a log and an undo Job Optional
A job changes prices by itself, only inside the floors, caps and daily change limit you set. Every change is logged, one step undoes it, and you hold the pause switch.
Bought separately, each time it is needed; not part of the monthly fee
The one-off job; buy it first if you do not yet have one.
What is included, and what is not
- The monthly report
- The re-check table, log row by log row
- The limit test re-run results
- Suggested rule changes, as a list for you to decide
Included
- One repricing job on one store, built under the one-off job on this site or one you can show us
- A full re-check of the month's log against your price and cost exports
- A re-run of the limit tests on a copy after any rule or platform change you report
- A test of the pause switch and the restore step on a copy
- A monthly report with counts, products that hit a limit repeatedly, and suggested rule changes
Not included
- Changing a rule, a limit or any price
- Holding your token or logging in to your store
- Competitor prices or sales predictions
- Round-the-clock cover or a response-time guarantee
- Any promise about sales, margin or revenue
How we know it’s done
Agreed with you before work starts. Each check produces evidence you keep.
After the report is frozen, you choose 10 rows without showing your verdicts to us and reproduce every verdict using the limits effective at each change; a missed floor, ceiling, step or daily-limit breach fails this report check.
Evidence: The 10 rows, your numbers and the report's.
The report states the number of log rows, the number checked, the count outside limits and the count of price changes in your store history.
Evidence: The monthly report.
The limit tests, the pause switch and the restore step are re-run on a copy each month, and any failure is listed first.
Evidence: The re-run results.
No price, rule or setting has been changed by us.
Evidence: Your store's price history for the month; we hold no token.
Sign-off. You read each report, re-run the checks it lists and tell us whether the marks and limits still suit you. A month counts as delivered when you have the report.
If it fails. If we cannot do a month because an export is missing or has changed, we say so and do not guess. If the service is not working for you, you can end it at the end of any month.
When it fits, and when we stop
It fits when
- A repricing job with a change log you can export
- Price, cost and stock exports for the month
- A named person who reads the report and changes rules
We stop and tell you if
- The log is incomplete or missing
- Limits are changed without telling us two months running
- Nobody on your side can change a rule
What could go wrong
The service reads exports and reports, so there is nothing to undo. Ending it leaves your systems exactly as they are; you keep every report.
Scroll the table sideways to read it all.
| Risk | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| The exported log is incomplete, so a change is missed. | The report compares the log's row count with the price changes in your store history and says if they differ. |
| The report is read as a promise that the job is safe. | The report states what was checked this month and says it describes this month only. |
| Exports carry customer data. | We ask for price, cost and stock only; no order or customer fields are needed. |
A separate automated reviewer checks each report and the rerun results. Your named person checks the held-back log rows and decides every rule change. No human supervisor from us is included unless the written agreement names one.
Stays with a person
- You or your named person change every rule, floor and cap
- You hold the pause switch and the token
Access we would need
- A monthly export of the change log
- Read-only price, cost and stock exports
- A copy of the job or a test store for the re-runs
Questions
Do you change my prices or rules?
No. We name the row or rule behind each issue. You or your named person make every change.
Do you promise the job is safe?
No. The report says what was checked this month and what it cannot show.
What if my log is incomplete?
We say so in the report and do not guess.
Send an enquiry
Send us
- Which job and platform, and how many products
- Whether the job came from the one-off job on this site
- No logins, keys, customer data or payment details in the first enquiry
Later, once you agree
- The monthly change log and store price history, the effective rule, floor, ceiling, step and daily-limit versions for each row, and a runnable copy with the frozen limit, pause and restore suite
- Price, cost and stock exports for the month
- Your list of rule or floor changes during the month
You keep the store, the job and every login. We read the exports you send and work on a copy. We never hold your token and never change a price or a rule.
