How to use this order
Work through the five steps and stop where you find a problem. This is an authored order, not a platform procedure. Change nothing on your live store while you check, and use anonymised or invented data for tests.
Step 1: what your shop promises
Write the answers customers get from your own pages, with the source of each, and the questions that always go to a person. Test it on 40 questions. The answer sheet job and the buyer page for repeat support emails cover this step.
- Answer sheet with a source for every line.
- A list of questions that always go to a person.
- A 40-question test, with half held back.
Step 2: product data
Check what AI wrote against your own data, fill missing fields only from text you hold, and make every bulk change undoable. Use the copy-failure guide, the copy check, the attributes job and the bulk-edit rehearsal.
- Trace each number and spec to a source cell.
- Leave unknown values blank.
- Export before and after; keep the first export.
Step 3: prices
Work a floor per product from your costs and check every price against it each week. Propose price changes only inside the floors, and approve each one yourself. Use the price-floor guide and the floors job.
Step 4: stock and delivery
Plan reorders from the days a product could be bought, and list orders that are stuck, lost or marked delivered but not received. Use the reorder guide, the reorder sheet job and the delivery-states guide.
Step 5: disputes and risk
When a dispute arrives, gather only true records in the order the reason code asks for, and keep refunds with a person. A lane can keep steps 1, 3 and 4 checked every period, with one product-data job a month, if you want one arrangement instead of separate jobs.
